The new registered Home Visitor Apprenticeship, designed in partnership with Ellen Cervantes at @CCRC4KIDS, seeks to recruit mothers who have benefited from home visiting services to be trained to become home visitors themselves.

Trad. apprenticeship employers pay participants a wage, which can be challenging in public & nonprofit sectors.
ECEPTS worked w/ @CCRC4KIDS, @JVSSoCal & @LACountyWDACS to secure Expanded Subsidized Employment funds to pay apprentice wages for the AV Home Visitor Apprenticeship.

Great news! The #CAbudget waives some test requirements for teacher candidates with sufficient coursework. Assuming we reinstate an #ECE Teaching Credential, this will breakdown a big barrier to success for the ECE workforce! #PathwaysToSuccess
