Happy Thanksgiving! 1066 had their Thanksgiving Meal last Friday, including a holiday meal & gift raffle. We also had the pleasure of having the PHACS Team assist services with serving the meals to the residents. CHEFS catered the, which was a huge hit among attendees!

Gratitude looks like 2,000 Thanksgiving meals prepared by our CHEFS trainees this week. Because of your orders and support, more students gained real-world culinary experience and took another step toward stable employment.

With the federal shutdown threatening to pause SNAP benefits for the first time ever, Mayor Lurie, the Board of Supervisors & Crankstart Foundation are stepping up. Together, they’re providing $18M in food assistance for nearly 112,000 San Franciscans. SF stands together.
If you are one of the 112,000 San Franciscans who receive SNAP benefits, your mayor and your city leaders will not let this federal government shutdown prevent you from putting food on the table. With the unanimous support of the Board of Supervisors, we will provide immediate relief for families and workers who depend on SNAP benefits, and we’re grateful to the Crankstart Foundation for their partnership in expanding that support. San Franciscans stand up for each other, and we’re going to do what it takes to make sure our neighbors can provide for their families. sfhsa.org/calfresh-emergency…
