*Daily Tip* Utilise a puppet in maths! When planning a lesson take time to consider the most common misconceptions children might make. Using a character or puppet can be a great way of demonstrating a misconception and addressing it without singling children out #Mathsweek2021

Is this for Ofsted or a subject review? As an individual you shouldn't be being 'deep dived' that is not what the process is designed for. Revisit the feedback from previous obs and show that you are implementing their advice. Don't do a wow lesson, just teach what you are due to

@MrTs_NQTs Do we all have the same ECT workload? I have: 1hr per wk online learning with notes etc., 1hr with mentor split btwn lesson obs, feedback & coaching, 3 x 1.5hr face-to-face mtg with other ECTs per half term. I am with Teach First.

My school is clearly preparing for OFSTED atm and I'm finding it hard to know what the expectation of me, as an ECT, will be? I understand what it means roughly for the school but can't find any advice specifically for ECTs. @MrTs_NQTs #edutwitter @MissJGM
