Also- it is way easier when you have to deal with an issue after starting with a positive interaction. I have had parents come up to me as an admin to gush over how excited they were by that interaction. #teachered #edtech

a5- I encouraged my teachers to call all the parents the first Quarter of the year for a positive reason, even better if you do it before back to school night (especially if you are new and nervous). The parents will already like you by back to school night #edtech #teachered
