Can I just say these two absolutely kill their scenes! Seriously, no other young duo on the show brings it like they bring it! The raw emotions they excude in pivotal scenes are a master class in subtle yet impactful performances. #GH is lucky to have Chad & Katelyn. #Millow

Context matters. In that moment, Michael quickly shook Willow in an attempt to wake her up from psychosis and understand what needed to be done. The priority was to get her out of there so as not to scare Wiley. The implication that this was an abusive moment is inaccurate.
Not the first time Willowβs been hysterical over losing her kids & stopped by Michael
Michael was a SA survivor and saw Kristina, Sam, and Willow threatened by men in the past (Carly, Liz etc)
But grabbing a woman in anger by her arms to throw her out? Shaking her?

Rory did great in his scenes today! Ngl, I've been having a difficult time seeing him as Michael because his mannerisms & response to situations weren't quite right... which is fair since he just took over the role... but today, I finally saw Michael!

Adding to this that Chad knew how to go from calm to unhinged in a heartbeat. That's what makes Michael Michael... he's constantly keeping the demons from his upbringing at bay in order to maintain peace. But, that inward struggle causes a tension that Chad knew how to express.

Chad understood the tension someone with that much trauma carries. It's why Michael has been one of my favorite characters because Chad knew how to visibly show that struggle with his expressions and mannerisms. Hopefully, Rory develops this, too... we'll see.

Miss Chad in the role of Michael. Don't get me wrong, I like Rory, & I think he's doing good as a replacement. However, CD embodied the role. From the start, he always deeply understood Michael's complex nature & you could feel the tension Michael inherently carried onscreen.

I'm enjoying this week's scenes after not really watching the show in awhile, but I can't help but think that CD would have killed these scenes. It would have been so explosive, so emotional... I guarantee it would have been another Emmy nomination and/or win under CD's belt.

Also, if anyone said the same about her fave actress, regardless the perceived truth of it, she and her friends would be throwing fits. In fact, they have. What she stated was a rude opinion and people responded in kind. That's our prerogative.

I mean, I've barely been on Twitter in months, yet the shenanigans never change with that crew. Yet, if the same was said about their faves, they'd be screaming bloody murder. And, if their faves defended themselves, they'd be praising them. Hypocritical as always and it's sad.
