Richard Himmelsbach from Eagle’s Landing Middle School (@ELM_HCS) proudly represented HCS at this past weekend's Regional Civics Bee, taking third place. We are #HenryProud of Richard, who moves on to the state competition for a chance to win the top prize of $1,000 and possibly compete at the national level for a chance at $100,000. The Henry County Chamber of Commerce (@Henry_Chamber) organizes the annual competition, held at the Fairview Performing Arts Center, to encourage middle school students to grow their understanding of civics while strengthening their leadership and community engagement.
