I guess it’s an unpopular opinion since I’ve seen many tweets wanting the CotH alt art to be Pumpking-theme, but I think an alt art promo for a big tournament like YCSJ should look good first, so it’s probably the right choice not going for the Pumpking option

This is such a bad take The condition to summon of those new cards doesn’t have anything to do with this It opens up new interactions, and also requires you to have a spell/trap to set to be able to special summon multiple in a turn Notably you can pick up a spell you set with Thrust to immediately use, or pick up a quickplay spell you set with some other effects to immediately use, while if it reveals in hand then you can’t do these things They are just 2 different things, let’s not try to draw relations between these things to fit your agenda (I’m not defending Toons btw, if you think that you have problems with reading comprehension)

The condition to summon these cards can actually allow them to play 3 Thrust without any real downside, as you can just get any normal spell/trap you need, set to field, then return it to hand to summon these so you bypass the restriction of not using the searched spell/trap this turn
