The ESED Teacher Scholar Awardees for the 2024-2025 academic year are Makayla Headley and Destinee Cooper! The ESED Teacher Scholar Award provides funding for ESED Ph.D. students to gain teaching experience during their graduate studies.

Drs. Eliza Gallagher and Matt Voigt were both participants in The National Scholars Program Awards of Distinction dinner for their roles as mentors, an event where graduating seniors and their mentors are honored for their mentoring that drives success in all facets of life.

This year, ESED student Margaret Ann Bolick won the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award at the college and university levels! Sadly, MA couldn’t be at the ceremony, but Drs. Matt Voigt and Cindy Lee (ESED) brought her picture along!
