This officer was left with nerve damage, permanent scars and sleepless nights after being mauled by a thug’s dog during a routine stop. Sickening that some people still treat dangerous dogs like weapons. open.substack.com/pub/esnrep…

If you could change one thing about this country, what would it be and why?

Sunday morning. You’re nursing a hangover or enjoying a lie-in. They’re scrubbing blood off boots, writing statements, and prepping case papers having not slept for 20 hours. Different worlds. Same postcode. What’s your Sunday morning routine vs theirs? 👇

You ever walked out of a job so tired, your body keeps moving but your brain clocked off three hours ago? That’s every shift for frontline emergency workers. One eye on the next 999, one foot in yesterday’s trauma, and still expected to smile for the public. No cape. No praise.

This is exactly how the neighbours look when you pull up on blues at 3am… peeking out like, “Ooh, what’s he done now?” 👀🚓😂

“Elite unit”, they say… back in the day, that meant taking down armed robbers, chasing dangerous fugitives, or kicking in doors with the Flying Squad. Now it apparently means scrolling X in hi-vis looking for spicy opinions on illegal immigration.

When did Westminster Bridge become a haven for scam gangs? It’s wall-to-wall cup shufflers and fake punters fleecing tourists in broad daylight, right outside Parliament. How have we let one of the most iconic landmarks in the UK turn into a cash machine for professional scammers

Big respect to the emergency workers still managing to save lives while running on vending machine dinners, sarcasm, and half a lung. Heroes, the lot of you. 💙💚❤️🧡💜🩶

You get praised for answering an email before 9am. They get screamed at, swung at, spat at… and still turn up for the next shift. We are not the same.

The IOPC has said that the lady was holding ‘kitchen utensils’ prior to being red dotted. Well, a wooden spoon can be described as a ‘kitchen utensil’ and so can a knife! Context matters and the IOPC should know this!

One officer. Two detainees. A growing crowd. Shouts, resistance, interference—and he still holds the line. Someone sent us the video with the words: “A real copper at last.” We watched it. We agreed. 🎥 Full breakdown and video here: open.substack.com/pub/esnrep…

1/6 A @sussex_police police officer was cleared of assault in court last week. He was accused of using force on duty — the kind of decision officers make in split seconds. He was found not guilty. But guess what? Not one local outlet reported the verdict. Let’s talk about that. 🧵
