Consul General Discusses Preparations for a Grand Ethiopia–UAE Cultural Event ================= H.E. Mr. Zerihun Megersa, Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, received H.E. Eng. Latifa Bint Eissa, Specialist in the Art of Parallel Diplomacy for UAE Culture and Soft Power, in his office, and exchanged views on ways to jointly organize a Grand Ethiopia–UAE Cultural Event in Dubai. During the discussions, both sides underscored the importance of continuing to strengthen the longstanding relations between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates in the field of cultural exchanges. They emphasized that cultural cooperation serves as an effective bridge for deepening mutual understanding, shared respect, and establishing enduring bonds of friendship between the peoples of the two countries. Consul General Holds Discussions with Ethiopian Investor in UAE ——————————— H.E. Ethiopia, Azerbaijan discusses over sharing experience of hosting COP ================= The Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of #Ethiopia in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, H.E. Mr. @CGZerihunDXB, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Kamran Mammadzada, Consul General of the Republic of #Azerbaijan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, at the Azerbaijani Consulate in Dubai. The two Consuls General held productive discussions aimed at further strengthening the longstanding friendship and expanding cooperation between Ethiopia and Azerbaijan. During the meeting, H.E. Mr. Zerihun recalled the landmark official visit of H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed to Baku in February 2026, during which he held high-level talks with H.E. President Ilham Aliyev to elevate the strategic partnership between the two countries. He noted that the visit culminated in the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding covering agriculture, digital identification systems, and public sector modernization. He further highlighted the MESOB service delivery platform shared from the experience of Azerbaijan’s ASAN Service system. In light of this he briefed his counterpart on the successful implementation of MESOB service centers in Addis Ababa and regional states as part of Ethiopia’s ongoing public service reform efforts.
