I wrote about why the new MCP rc is a big deal that I haven't heard enough people talking about (other than @techgirl1908).
TL;DR: this makes MCP work with the infrastructure we're all used to, which I think will unlocks a new future for the protocol.

a few months ago, i listened to @bcherny on @lennysan podcast and he gave advice to "build for model capabilities in 6 months and not today's capabilities."
This has been a really useful framework for me in developing agents, it allows you to be comfortable pushing it.
But with the overreach ban of Fable, is this still relevant? Now it seems like such a risk and I'm struggling to reconcile that.

I’ve worked in venture-backed companies my whole career. I’ve even started two and failed one. I believe in capitalism.
But watching middle-class folks celebrate the world’s first trillionaire is the clearest sign we’ve lost the plot.
That’s not a milestone we should celebrate. That’s one person holding more economic leverage than entire nations of people. Nobody should have that many resources while kids starve. If you disagree, you’ve lost the plot.
Nothing about this is good for anyone.
