ALT You can’t just “regenerate” a forest of 400 year old trees! These trees preserve genetic and ecological information dating back thousands of years. Once they are cut all that information is lost.

Temagami is a great place for birdwatching, and is home to a wide variety of bird species, including great blue herons, ospreys, woodpeckers, warblers, and many others. Birdwatchers will find ample opportunities to spot and observe different species throughout the area.
