Following the retirement of Chief Farrenkopf, Deputy Chief Daniel Keane was sworn in as the 8th permanent Fire Chief for the Eastham Fire Department. Best wishes to Chief Farrenkopf on his retirement and warm welcome to Chief Keane!

On Tuesday at approximately 08:15am, an off duty Orleans firefighter reported a car fire on Route 6 by the Eagle Wing motel. Car 152 and Engine 155 responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported and traffic was detoured for a short time.
