What is everyone’s go to for long term yellow nutsedge control? I’ve had problematic areas for the last several years, and while I can achieve season control with a mix of sulfentrazone and halosulfuron methyl, it seems to return the following year.

Fall seeding has commenced. One park received 150# of Bluegrass at 2 lbs and another park received 200# of fescue at 8 lbs.

12 days after seeding TTTF. Seeding directly into existing organic matter has proven to an effective renovation strategy. Some bare ground areas in the same section are struggling to fill in.

One of our aged Ventrac’s (we have 2) is up for replacement. We mow 50 acres of high profile parkland with zero turns, Ventrac’s, and 48’s. Does it make sense to purchase a Toro 4500 D (9ft) mower or another Ventrac. I believe we can reduce mowing times by 30% with the Toro.
