Dumb af, players already do bi-weekly updates that are usually 5gb for Epic's stuff, if 50% plays creator islands, then why are we limited...
Stop capping developers and let us choose whether we want players to spend longer downloading an experience we think is worth their time

Hey @BeastFNCreative weโre really sorry for the confusion here. This wasnโt a test, it was an error in the Creator Portal and has been reverted.
A compact download size means games remain available to as many players as possible โ wherever they play. Later this year, we will add the ability to stream large assets (like textures and meshes) to UEFN, increasing what you can fit within the existing headroom.

Whenever Epic finally figures out how to do Fortnite seasons in UEFN after their unrealistic 2025 target, maybe they should try and stick to a 400mb limit and see what they can fit in one singular mode.

Bloomberg reports that some (former) employees at Epic Games say the company routinely releases products some employees call "Version 0.5", suggesting they were only half ready.

Epic talks a big game about empowering creators and then delays the features we actually need while pushing their own version of Piece Control, with those features. Deeply disappointing @FNCreate , especially since we've had so many discussions with EPIC about what makes our Piece Control 2v2 mode so successful

NEW MODES COMING TO FORTNITE ๐ ๐ฅ
Based on the latest update, Epic is working on a TON of new modes! Here's a list with a basic explanation for each:
- WickedSmoke - This will be the next "Social-First" mode (like Delulu)!
- UnableRoman - This is the previously leaked TDM (Team Deathmatch) mode!
- Rivalry - This is the Mech-Based Lego mode.
- CurioBox - This is the previously leaked new Lego mode!
- MatchMist - New Reload related mode/map
- BabyCorgi - New mode likely related to Ballistic
- Bulldog and Husky - Related to Disney mode!
There are also many codenames with unknown uses. They are:
- AshenPike
- ElectricPhoenix
- MagentaToaster
- Xanadu
