Let's break this down. I mean everything here with respect and I hope it's seen as insightful for VTubers. Let's scroll through Slug's Twitter and bsky accounts. What is it that you see? Do you see him showing off his personality, engaging in conversations, or posting silly memes with his likeness? No, we don't see any of that. Instead what we see is pages and pages of "live now" posts. That's it. Do we see a Youtube Channel (be it VoDs or shorts) or a TikTok? Instagram maybe? No. There's no other reach currently being hit. Take some time to edit shorts. Twitch makes it the most easy thing in the whole entire world now. Instead of people going "But idk how to use the 100% free program Davinci Resolve and I don't want to watch short tutorials to learn", just use Twitch's short creator. Do SOMETHING else other than twitter and twitch to gain reach. The posts you interact with in your replies are almost exclusively from... Female VTubers... The thing you've taken issue with in your original post... Are they doing something well and getting numbers and attention? Then you do it too. Take the idea, twist it to fit you. You haven't built yourself up or your brand. You do not build numbers just by hitting "Go Live" and playing a video game. As of writing this, there are 96,546 LIVE CHANNELS currently on Twitch. So, vtubers, who are you? Let's see it. Let's hear it. SHOUT IT from the rooftops and let EVERYONE know you exist.
