On the topic of C-3PO… it’s a color correction issue on the old films. He’s always had one silver leg (lower half). You can look at the old vhs (if you can get it) and it’s hard to tell but Lucas and others have color corrected the films since 77 and it’s just more obvious now.

#drupal who is picking sessions for #Drupalcon? There are competitive solutions to Acquia’s Canvas that have been ignored for two back to back American cons. Track chairs have an obligation to show the community more than Acquia’s narrow vision. The community can innovate too.

Charlie Kirk tried really hard to make logical, fact based arguments that didn’t rely on his faith. He was happy to have faith based debates, but that wasn’t his default mode. It didn’t matter if you agreed or not, he had fact-based arguments you could wrestle with.

I know when someone dies on the “other side”, it’s human nature to maybe feel certain despicable things. It’s hard wired in. But they’re people. Just like that person you love most in the world. See them as a person. Imagine you loved them. Imagine they loved you.

Just in case #drupal hasn’t clued in on this yet:
You can’t put figma into your customer’s preferred dev pipeline. Figma wants to own the cms layer too. They’re officially competing with you.
Drupal needs to be innovating the entire website delivery pipeline. Including design.

If a FOSS community cannot criticize its leadership, it’s lost the plot. I’ve criticized #Drupal leadership and their decisions so many times. Sometimes people listened; more often they didn’t, but I was never bullied about my modules or kicked out of community spaces. #Wordpress
