Ukraine’s drone war is evolving faster than anywhere else on Earth. The Ukrainian SOKIL UAV may represent the birth of a new class of cheap reconnaissance drones. In this video: SOKIL, FPV interceptor drones, and how Ukraine is rewriting the rules of the sky. #Ukraine #Drone

FP-2 drones of the @1usc_army1st destroyed two Russian BMP-2M in Crimea, equipped with French thermal imagers that Russia intended to use to shoot down Ukrainian drones. This is yet another sign of Russia's shortage of air defense systems.

The BMP-2M "Berezhok" is not a standard BMP-2. Its combat module includes thermal imaging and automatic target tracking, which enables it to shoot down drones. As we can see, it didn't help. The crew of the second infantry fighting vehicle simply abandoned it and fled.

🔊 Sound on😄 Today, Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles struck the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary, Russia. The factory produces navigation and guidance systems used in Russian missiles, drones, and glide bombs. ~1,000 km (620 miles) from Ukraine's border. @iraterekh

Approximate visualization of an FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile flight to Cheboksary this morning by kiber_boroshno. OSINT suggests ~5 missiles were launched. 2 were intercepted over Chuvashia and 1 near the target in Cheboksary.

Here's what the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary looks like after the arrival of Ukrainian Flamingos.

If you compare the date of Mykhailo Fedorov’s appointment as Ukraine’s Minister of Defense with the shift of the front line in Ukraine’s favor, you’ll notice the correlation.
Ukrainian drones are now autonomously intercepting Shaheds. A @BRAVE1ua developer has created a tech that automates 95% of the interception process—from launch to target destruction. The system successfully completed its combat trials in the Kharkiv region. The operator simply selects the target, and the drone autonomously tracks and neutralizes it. It took less than a year to get from prototype to real-world deployment. We are scaling autonomous defense tech to rewrite the rules of modern air defense.

This is what happens when you have an architect on your team. Ukrainian drone operators from the 58th Brigade strike the structural weak points of buildings, causing extensive damage with FPV drones.

Footage of the aftermath of a drone strike on a Russian corvette has emerged. The vessel was hit on June 3, some 900 km (560 miles) from Ukraine. Judging by the fire inside the ship, there appears to have been an ammunition detonation on board. I doubt it will ever be restored.

Incredible! A relatively large Ukrainian FP-2 drone threaded its way through the wires of a high-voltage power line before striking a locomotive.

"Recently, we conducted an extremely important test: a fully controlled maneuvering flight of the FP-7.X rocket, which will form the basis of the future anti-ballistic interceptor FREYJA." — @iraterekh. Important step towards reducing dependence on scarce "Patriot" missiles.

This is impressive. Footage of the attack on St. Petersburg. @DenShtilierman previously talked about GPS-independent terrain-matching guidance for low-altitude flights. Watching this FP-1 skim just above the water, I can't help wondering if we're seeing that capability in action

1/ Nemesis Unmanned Systems Brigade has unveiled a new mid-range strike drone called MORRIGAN. It features a flying-wing airframe, which provides high lift and aerodynamic efficiency, paired with an internal combustion engine that enables long-range operations.

2/ MORRIGAN was developed by a Ukrainian company together with operators from the Nemesis unit. Flying-wing designs are usually less agile during the terminal attack phase, but the two vertical stabilizers likely improve stability and control.

Gripen have long-range air-to-air missiles (Meteor) that could stop Russian aircraft dropping hundreds of glide bombs daily. It would save many lives.
⚡ Zelenskyy: We will get jets with weapons, not just jets. These Gripens with specific weapons, especially Meteor missiles, which can destroy targets at 100 kilometers.

For context: Russian Su-34s launch glide bombs from 12 km (39,000 ft) altitude, 40–70 km (25–43 mi) behind the front line. They’re covered by Su-35s armed with long-range R-37M air-to-air missiles. The US currently has no operational air-to-air missile with comparable range.
