John Szefc keeps perhaps the best freshman to come through the program in his tenure — maybe ever.
Ball led VT with 18 doubles, 17 HR, 52 RBIs and a 1.081 OPS last season.

Got the contract for the Maryland football series alteration. As you can see, the 2029 game’s guarantee is adjusted to $600K, an increase of $100K . (From the original contract, Maryland will pay the #Hokies $500K to travel for this year’s game in College Park.)
So no, VT did not pay $600K to cancel the 2027 and 2028 games, as has been reported elsewhere.

Nick Saban is speaking today on the College Sports Protection Act. Let us not forget that 2 years ago, Saban said that "college sports is not a business." And that's who Congress is going to for insight as a subject matter expert.
