Well the "Jaws effect" isn't real, for starters. Jaws was part of a larger, older social phenomenon responsible for the public's increased interest in/fear of sharks. The outcome would've been the same even if Jaws had never been made.
Maybe a hot take but I think a lot of people learned about the effect Jaws had on Sharks and attempted to over-correct by going to far in the opposite direction. A modern creature feature horror is never going to have the impact Jaws did.

I'm getting word that the Peacock streaming version of Surviving Earth... is exactly the same as the TV edit.

It remains to be seen if we even get a better version of Surviving Earth. If we do, which I honestly hope for, I'll hold my hands up and say I was wrong. I mean, WWD did have a very low budget, they did what they could with that money.

Between this and Prehistoric Planet Ice Age I think we might have to admit that the Paleomedia Golden Age is dead in a ditch.
That’s it? That was Surviving Earth?!

Yes, I've learned that the majority of manga is a rush-job devoid of artistic integrity and will probably be the first major creative field to be entirely replaced by AI given how weebs readily accept low effort tracing and poorly-done Photoshop jobs.

i don’t think there’s anything positive from letting horribly invasive species run rampant and destroy the habitats of native fauna across the planet. the dinosaurs have a right to live but belong in sanctuaries and rescue programs, captive but not to be exploited for profit

Based decision btw. No breeder propaganda in my anti-capitalist trans-dinosaur movie series.
Remember how Grant’s whole arc in Jurassic Park was warming up to the idea of having kids and then he never had kids

Should have just kept those models rather than making new, worse ones
I find it interesting how ILM was using the old trilogy models as placeholders for the JW dinosaurs and even early mo-cap tests in 2014.

I'm currently sat on the train in my forest-print trousers and I noticed the guy opposite is wearing trousers with leaf-printing. Finally men are fighting back against 200 years of Beau Brummell-induced mediocrity that forced us to wear the most boring clothing in the world.
