Thanks to members of the public who alerted PCSO 5133 to an abandoned rucksack on Devonshire street, Penrith. Upon inspection it contained nearly a dozen bottles of alcohol which were subsequently removed from the streets ahead of the Saturday evening economy.

The Winter Droving Event may have been cancelled due to wind forecast but PCSOs remain out in all conditions, and there were no cancellations to Hot Spot Patrols this evening in Penrith town.

Penrith Neighbourhood Police delivered 'Parking Buddies' to Appleby primary school. Parking on double yellow lines is an offense and police will take appropriate action in dealing with it. This parking has endangered children recently as they have attempted to cross the road.
