Mass production , intensive farming , one size (of pig) fit s all , and then unnecessary ingredients (msg,flavoring,co2etc)to extend chilled food shelf life in the food chain will be cheaper . But ask yourself at what cost . Eat less meat eat better locally sourced regional stuff

Ok .support your local butchers and farmers markets who don’t need CO2 to extend shelf life ,who in turn support local Abbatoir s that don’t use CO2 for slaughter . Keep Rural infrastructure going , this is an example of massive food supply chains !
