1/ 🧵 since 2021, I've poured my heart into multiple projects as an NFT creator.
Been on OpenSea front page more than once, with volumes pumpimg, discord chat flying, everyone cheering and sharing my art.
But despite amazing communities and innovative ideas, each one fizzled out after the initial hype.
All along I was taking this personally, but over time it became clear this pattern is everywhere, even with giants like BAYC (-92% down from ATH).
The trajectory is almost always the same: initial excitement, followed by a slow bleed-out.
This is how I got caught in the Sisyphean trap of chasing "utility."
