Look, the first widely effective mass-used product was in the 1950s. The one you cited was marketed by J&J. Fair. But it pulled. For societal/reasons. And I said the tampon was patented by a man. The successful deployment of commercial products were by women. Belt/tampon.

Not having the social ability to have the products marketed, well, that’s a thing. And I’m glad there’s an electric drill. Edges of any movement are nut picking. Feminists have hated the laws. A few have hated men. That’s not a way to define women wanting equal rights.

My family is almost all born in last 15 days of November. So congratulations! But a rotisserie chicken from Costco, cran in a can, pie from Costco, potatoes like you like them, and roasted Brussels or fresh green beans (your choice), plus ready to eat rolls and butter.

And for family who didn't help, well, they have to do a chore to see the baby. Normally, one would expect this anyway, but now it's mandatory. Thinking good thoughts for you guys! I'd remember and forgive, but not forget.

Can anyone who has had to stop a parent from driving talk about best methods? Let's assume that it's really needed. It's also not me, because I would take the car and deal with the repercussions. So, I'm happy to talk about legal options.

That’s such a cool job! I knew a kid who got to go to “Smithsonian preschool” (most fed agencies used to have daycares), and her stories were amazing.

They would get to go behind the scenes at the zoo at 4 yo. They would go to an art gallery to see one painting and then make their own once back at their school. Dino days when they would walk for 15 minutes and see a Dino skeleton. Parents were on lists to help.

No one except for the office of the president and individual congressional offices can take a book out, but I helped 2 friends who needed original pages from books where LoC gave me access to at least make copies. I rec this as a place to visit when in DC all the time.

Your dad must have been handling some of the coolest things. Getting to be in the reading room and having a book be delivered was amazing.

And for what it's worth, Raffi @Raffi_RC is amazing. We still sing Five Little Ducks, but they move on song by song. Watching kids learn to sing and learn beats. They learn music thru him! His chosen songs have emotion and a story in them. Complex stories are told by him.

Raffi, you read this. Can I just say thank you for so many childhood trips both as a child and as an adult! My nephew watches your concert songs with his grandmother for Baby Beluga. My child could crawl and find Down By The Bay book when it played.

Learning beats and more importantly singing together! We were just singing “hippo new year” together! Thank you so very much.

So it doesn't even meet the requirements of the OK law which says "The Constitution". The Constitution includes the amendments. All of them.

Who stands? That was a suggestion circa 1995. Maybe I missed out.

This term is where losing the Ginsburg vote mattered most, potentially. She was always going to vote to overturn Roe. Seeing Roberts go Lindsay Graham was always a potential. And he was never one who wanted to be the odd man out and give his court to Alito.

Roberts has never lost in his life. Thomas, he -- and giving up Chevron is a big issue -- is who he is. But having 8 years be the Alito court, no way for JR. Scalia loved being a justice: banter, opera, trading of theories, dinners with clerks, justices. Alito hates it, imo.

It worked out. As an introvert I was totally adopted. Largely b/c I listened to people and asked questions. And after the swim test the competitive girls wanted me on their team. But I did ask for 1 hr of time. I got it every other day, and only if the nurse station was free.

When two different Abrahamic religions ban pork you really do start to wonder. Did they really just look at one of the most abundant forms of protein in the ancient world and go "nah"? What did they know

Then I would expect a lot of outcry at stand-your-ground laws, where you can use lethal means for non-lethal threats. A threat to a person's health and safety is allowed if a person is spoiling for a fist fight, but not if you have cancer while pregnant.

But agree, as with the man in Missouri last week, or SCOTUS concurring opinions which argue innocence isn't a legal reason to cancel an execution, it breaks down when framed other ways. It's about the viewed morality of the other entity.

Standard of care. Because chemo wrecks your immune system, you can't be pregnant in the first trimester. Having to undergo surgery once your immune system in shot, it's really bad and puts you in a position to get very ill.

This was years ago, but my prescriber wrote down on the script “for shingles related acute pain” and that was helpful. One pharmacy would only order it, the other had it in stock, but the notation plus my positive test in hand was the key to getting it that night.

(Obviously, my record had no prior script, and had gotten the drug for shingles. But it helped. Dunno. It’s a real problem, I don’t disagree.)
