Greg Abbott claims his private school voucher scam will help working families. But when I questioned the bill author, he admitted that it would give $1.2 million in taxpayer funds to Elon Musk. Vouchers are welfare for the wealthy.

There’s a common denominator in all these education bills being pushed the #TxLege—(HB2, HB 3, HB 4, HB 6, HB7) so let’s ask the real question: Who actually wrote them? Because it sure looks like power is being handed over to Abbott’s hand-picked TEA Commissioner, Mike Morath, on a silver platter. Our elected officials? They’re either unaware, too weak to fight back, or too deep in someone’s pocket. For some, it’s easier to roll over than to do the right thing and vote NO on these bills. And who pays the price? Our kids. #TxEd #TxLege @BradBuckleyDVM @DiegoBernalTX @RepAllenTX131 @TrentAshbyTX @johnbryantfortx @CharlesTX127 @RepHaroldDutton @RepJamesFrank @GinaForAustin @Dist32StateRep @HelenKerwin4TX @leachfortexas @TerriLeoWilson @Schoolcraft4TX @jamestalarico Click here to learn more- then share: open.substack.com/pub/alicel…

Mike Morath is NOT elected by Texans, yet HB2 gives him unchecked authority over our children’s education. No bureaucrat should have this much power. #Txlege #TxEd #SchoolChoice Scam #FraudWasteAbuse @BradBuckleyDVM @DiegoBernalTX @RepAllenTX131 @TrentAshbyTX @johnbryantfortx @CharlesTX127 @RepHaroldDutton @RepJamesFrank @GinaForAustin @Dist32StateRep @HelenKerwin4TX @leachfortexas @TerriLeoWilson @Schoolcraft4TX @jamestalarico

Basic allotment is the dark blue line. It has not changed. Funding is up in all areas of NON student and teacher impact and direct influence funding. Another way to state this is the TXLEGE is funding TEA and Vendors- all state spending no local spending other than bonds or Vatre. The book cooking and story telling out of Austin paid spinners leaves no question of what the proposed district of Austin Capitol should be labeled. The great old tale Pinocchio’s Fantasy island!

Since 2011, per student spending of taxpayer money on TX government schools is up 42% while 8th grade math proficiency is down 40%. That is not a sound “investment.”

TX must lead the nation in real school freedom—not a system where gov’t funding comes with strings attached. Demand true education choice that keeps parents, NOT politicians, in control. #TXlege #SchoolChoice @BradBuckleyDVM @DiegoBernalTX @RepAllenTX131 @TrentAshbyTX

FACT: Once gov’t funds flow into private schools, mandates WILL follow—just like in healthcare. Vouchers & ESAs = the end of real parental control. Don’t let TX fall for the bait. #TXlege #SchoolChoice @rightresponsem @jonharris1989 @MaryDunlaphome @westinmartine @MdBreathe

My issue with Corey is much more than his past. It is who he is funded by currently. Betsy Devos’ American Federation for Children The fact that Corey DeAngelis, the face of the “school choice” movement (who is
traveling the nation and appearing in the media to advocate for universal school choice bills to be passed) has been discovered to be an expert for UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab and a member of their E- TEAM, Education and Digital Skills should be very concerning to you. The purpose of UNESCO’s Inclusive Policy Lab is to “help design and deliver more inclusive, equity-weighted, and SDG- oriented policies.” Considering that passing these bills would assist in making UNESCO’s vision of regulating private education become a reality, it begs the question as to why Corey DeAngelis is involved with both. The United States membership in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1946 set in motion the destabilization of our society through the rejection of absolute morals and values, Judeo-Christian tradition, and Roman law. Legislation authorizing United States membership in UNESCO marked the end of United States autonomy in a very crucial area: that of education. From this time on UNESCO would dictate education policy to our government and others.” (Deliberate Dumbing Down of America) (p.27) voicesempower.com/devos-dean…

Did you know? The Obama administration created the curriculum curation system, the Learning Registry—and helped their tech giant partners create similar curriculum ratings/curation systems—in order that teachers’ and students’ choices could be manipulated and controlled by state assessment scores. The Obama administration’s Deputy Director of Ed Tech, Steve Midgley, speaking about how OER works. They state outright that they were starting to curate curriculum to ensure that teachers choose the “most relevant resource.” Midgley says, “[Through the Registry] we can actually find out this teacher assigned this material; this teacher emailed this to someone else; this teacher dragged it onto a smart board for 18 minutes. . . .” The Registry will also use “the math that I don’t understand which [will] let me know something about who you are and then let me do some mathematical operations against a very large data set and see if I can pair you with the appropriate relevant resource.” The federal tripod of standards, assessments, and accountability is strangling local curriculum and assessment control. The tripod is being used to access and control what your children learn in the classroom. voicesempower.com/stop-being…

It is infuriating to see so call Conservative Republicans; people who say they are Christians who are for liberty and less government and parental rights pushing the government regulated “School Choice” movement. Which in fact, limits parental rights and true education Freedom. voicesempower.com/sboe-and-s…

#SchoolChoice #HB1 @lynnsdavenport @MaryDunlaphome NWEA MAP testing 1.MAP testing is a computer adaptive test. 2.The question changes depending on the student’s previous answer. 3. No two students take the same test. 4. The teacher does not know the questions asked of his/her students nor does the teacher see the students answers. 5. The MAP test spews out a data point and the teacher makes a judgement based on data, not personal knowledge of the student or the material being “assessed”. 6. A parent thinks their child is taking a math or English assessment but in reality, MAP testing is scoring a child’s SEL (behavior) while nudging the student to a specific behavioral outcome. (NWEA AWARD for testing SEL) 7. MAP is an assessment (assesses behavioral) which is different than a test (tests knowledge does 2 2 =4) 8. Computer adaptive assessments (MAP/STAAR) are the gateway to data collection giving the state THE ABILITY TO sort and control the workforce. This is wrong and unAmerican. 9. Digital badging system to adjust curriculum in real time as the market demands shift to guide children to certain workforce tracks. 10. Passing can be manipulated in real time so no real, factual knowledge if the student can read write or do math… only know what the data point spews
