Albeit only one data point, but it doesn’t look like too many investors are overly concerned about changes to the CGT.

If a Government agency can simply seize crypto wallets and all of the contents… doesn’t that raise some large red flags about the security of Crypto?
This sounds way to easy and if the IS govt can do it this easily, so can hackers.

US Treasury Secretary Bessent quite emotionally stated that the United States confiscated cryptocurrency worth 1 billion dollars from Iranian residents:
"We seized about 1 billion US dollars of Iran's cryptocurrency - we simply directly seized the wallets.
Some of them may be writing right now and may not realize that their wallets have been seized."

Biggest investment blunder of the last 12 months was entering $VR1.ax and not popping the parachute promptly.
A small position, but I’m down 50% there and need to simply cut my losses and get the hell out.

Entered $INFQ (NASDAQ) about 10 days ago as part of my increased shift into US stocks.
Up 15% last night and 47% for the month, but still a relatively low market cap in the quantum computing space.

Aiming for lower- mid valuations, growth, tech with a couple of the big names also.

I’m not a boomer, and I’ll likely pay more tax now but I have a decent accountant to help me navigate this.
Such is life.
I’m not going to whinge about it, nor virtue signal that I care about some other population group who may or may not benefit from the tax changes.

I'm a boomer and I'm happy with the tax changes because they have specific exemptions that prevent any of them impacting me.

It’s OK to say “I don’t like the idea of paying more tax on my investments”
I’ve never seen so many “think about low income earners and students who have big share portfolio” comments on X before.
Just own your self interest, people.
