Eric's running a positive campaign of ambitious ideas to inspire Ontarians across party lines. Whether he wins or not, he widens the conversation and reminds us that we need not acquiesce to institutional mediocrity.
You’re overthinking things. Lombardi has a great reputation in Ontario, partially because he helped revolutionize the provincial housing discourse. Many conservatives genuinely like him and respect his wonkishness and pragmatism, so, yes, we’re boosting him. We earnestly see him as a better alternative to the Ford government, and it’s as simple as that. Not everything is a 4D chess strategy.

I thought X was supposed to autotranslate into English now?
(neutral fans only) Which is more annoying, Wemby's manufactured "look at me just being a deep guy sketching in a park" act or the neverending goddamn shots of celebrities, including many deeply annoying ones who don't even like basketball, at every single Knicks game?

I'm not in Andrew's private club so I can't ask him how his "Liberal values" differ from my liberal values, but I'd like to know how one wins elections by trying to chase away people like me who are attracted by a refreshing leadership candidate.
It’s really not a good look that many conservatives, and even far right influencers, on this platform are fawning over one particular candidate in the @OntLiberal race. Even more problematic, many claim to be joining the party to support said candidate. Let me be clear: we will only rebuild @OntLiberal through attracting tens of thousands of new members to our party — including new members from different political parties with conflicting views because that’s how you build a big tent and genuinely rebuild a party in clear need of renewal. Yet new members to our party must endorse basic liberal/Liberal values. Unfortunately, many of these supposed new members don’t meet this basic test — and I find this deeply concerning. #cdnpoli #onpoli

Canadians and Ontarians are tired of divide-and-conquer identity politics, especially from our party. Like, can we move on? No one wants 2010s Liberal politics anymore, including most Liberals. Let’s engage on substance.
The majority of likes for Eric's Elon appreciation post seem to be from old white guys. Liberal Ladies in Ontario, please question whether Eric's the fella you want to ride with? Doesn't seem a safe neighbourhood for women.

Iranian news outlet Tabnak released images it said showed a Boeing 737-7JZ BBJ, registered A6-RJF, flying over Tehran and allegedly carrying $3 billion in funds to Iran, after Reuters reported that the UAE had delivered that amount to Tehran. The Tabnak report did not specify when the photos were taken or whether they showed the same Boeing 737-7JZ BBJ that was spotted Monday flying from Abu Dhabi to Tehran. At the time, unconfirmed media reports said the plane was carrying the $3 billion to Iran. iranintl.com/en/202606126783

In Canada, a retired couple earning $182,000 a year still collects more than $18,000 from Old Age Security. Meanwhile 400,000 seniors live in poverty. Millennials pay 28% more in income taxes toward seniors' retirements than boomers did at the same age. Chrétien tried to fix this in 1996. Politics killed it. It's time to rebalance OAS and restore generational fairness.

On behalf of the people of Ontario, I extend my sincere condolences to the family, loved ones and fellow service members of Toronto Police Service Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who was killed in the line of duty today. Today is a sobering reminder of the sacrifices and risks faced by police officers across Ontario every day as they work to keep our province safe.

"While it is true that Canadian oil and natural gas volumes have grown over the past ten years, they grew at a fraction of their potential. We have continued to grow by debottlenecking existing projects, improving efficiencies, and brownfield expansion. We continue to lever off the investments that were made prior to 2015. In fact, only one greenfield oil sands project has been approved and built since 2013, while capital investment in oil sands peaked in 2014. So as Canadians, we need to ask ourselves – what did we get for this? We forewent investment, jobs, royalties, and taxes, while the world continued to consume exactly the same amount of energy... it just didn’t come from Canada." /4

The DSA Left is a machine built to fight moderate Democrats in factional warfare. The DSA Left is not built to fight Republicans. It has no idea of its own points of vulnerability because moderate Ds never fight back very hard.
I asked Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed about why he erasing old posts, including a dozen tweets that championed the “defund the police” movement, following reporting from my @KFILE colleagues.

Too soon to say who I'll back election time; his party is not my natural home. However, Eric is injecting a lot of sense and energy that #onpoli desperately needs. I wish him well.
I’m entering the race for Ontario Liberal Leader because I believe Ontario can still win! But not if we keep ignoring our big problems. (1/3) 👇

You misunderstand the purpose of this event, which has been going on since long before Bibi was PM, and will exist long after. It’s an event to celebrate Israel, that’s all. It’s not a statement on the current government of Israel or on Israeli policies. It’s simply to celebrate this resilient, tenacious, strong, beautiful, accomplished country. The Walk is not political - it’s not left it’s not right, it’s not a statement. It’s a celebration of the fact that Israel exists. That’s it.

Sorry man, when I was running Pierre’s campaign back in the year of our Lord 2004, Fred was part of political operations with the CPC. He went on to run for us, support his wife who ran for us and continues to back conservatives, including Pierre. This “fake conservative” nonsense is the real harm. Conservatism in Canada requires a coalition of fiscal responsibility/ accountability conservatives, law and order/ defence and foreign policy conservatives, individual and property rights conservatives and pro family social conservatives and then finding a balance of those to win and to govern. I loved that 2004 campaign. It brought the national coalition with all four pillars together thanks to Stephen Harper and Peter MacKay. Locally, Pierre ran on “strong families, safe streets and self reliance”. So perfect. All that that said, C(c)onservatism is not exclusionary. It is not anger. It is not extreme in ideology. It does not seek permission. Keep that in mind when you try to shame Fred out of the party. We are all Fred. And we ain’t going anywhere.
These fake Conservatives do more harm than Liberals do. They’re on the outside & want back in. They criticize Pierre… alienating everyone in the process. I think Fred DeLorey is a perfect example: A Doug Ford & Erin O’Toole guy, who has the same talking points as Liberals when criticizing Pierre. Then Liberals, like Mark Gerretsen, use his talking points and say “look at what this Conservative just said about Pierre” & “what happened to Pierre?!” It’s a circle of former insiders, on the outside, working proactively to replace Pierre.
