The problem with vested interests is that when Jesus’ interests go in another direction, we spend our time trying to fit them into Jesus or shape Jesus to fit them.
Therein lies the history of Christendom.
The Holy Spirit has invested considerably more Christian commitment into the identifying characteristics of the church than do the majority of church identification sermons!
Families are designed to be accepting, forgiving, long-suffering, encouraging, understanding, honest, respectful, straightforward, accountable, supportive, forbearing, and loving.
