Happy to clarify your misinformation. The early closure Saturday was due to rain and temps in the 50s, as shared on Facebook and Instagram. We opened for spring April 3 from our “winter hiatus” and enjoyed seven spring weekends before we started daily summer operations on May 21

Update on Millennium Force:
The ride’s manufacturer (Intamin) directly supplies the seat belts to Cedar Point, and it has been identified that they are shorter than the manufacturer’s specifications.
We are working with them to replace the belts in the coming weeks.

If you visited the park during our opening weekend, you may have noticed the Frontier Trail restrooms got a major overhaul. We, of course, had to celebrate with a ribbon cutting.
Shoutout to our park services team for keeping our park, and toilets, tidy. 🚽💩

Dead Man’s Party is returning to Fright Fest later this year at @SFGrAdventure!! The show debuted in 1999 and has been a staple ever since! Last year, the show was canceled amongst many other unfortunate losses with the park. This is a step in the right direction!

In retrospect, it's funny good old Great Adventure had the foresight to realize they weren't gonna hit a decent '26 opening and smartly call it. They're not that far behind the pack. Purple Purple Eater has digested as much as the 2026 additions around the rest of the country.
Over Texas just ghosted the mid May ACE event. Beemers used to be the quickest ease to construct. Crossing the finish line seems to have slowed with no testing or pull thru yet and the area development far behind. Pull-the-pitcher mid-inning management, I'm sure doesn't help.
Falcons Flight showed us Intamin's recent lengthy commissioning... but Universal isn't going to send it like Qiddiya without a long ops ramp-up. Their internal post commissioning typically train a month. With the afterthought screen walls, seems the municipality came back with additional 11th hour requirements for a CO, so they're not nearing those previews yet.
Even Kentucky Kingdom which had the small, simple and always smooth Vekoma build is writing an apology letter. Forget that other Herschend project in the mountains. Don't mack the boat, change the billboards.
United Parks completely gave up on the schedule of this years projects. Enchanted had to open a half dozen parks they were given keys to last week with a company that doesn't yet exist. We're wondering if IB Parks is going to open some of their properties at all.
