Gisele Pelicot, whose husband drugged her and allowed different men to rape her over the course of 10 years, is holding a public trial and allowing her name to be published, even though she didn't have to.
Her husband wished for a private trial, which would have allowed their names to remain anonymous, but she wanted to shame the men who have raped her and hold them responsible publicly for what they've done.
She told the court that she hopes her testimony might help spare other women from similar ordeals. She said she pushed for the trial in open court in solidarity with other women who go unrecognized as victims of sexual crimes.
Her strength is so unbelievable.

The govt has waited until the end of the summer holidays to communicate with school leaders that they must close parts or all of their school. It has refused to publish the list list of schools in danger and has racked up an 11.4bn bill for school rebuilding/repair. Disgraceful.
