Lot of people in the replies who clearly know nothing about ME/CFS (which is what she has, and what I have, and hers is worse). You can absolutely be fragile, housebound and disabled, and yet find yourself forced do a few things you absolutely have to do in order to survive.

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I think people are far too eager to forgive and forget. Politicians often do this (quietly drop unpopular positions without apology) - it does not mean they have abandoned those views, or that they won't return to them later.
