Nick, once again talks about Aaron, despite the HRO against him and the looming trial on June 5th.
Funnily enough, Nick completely GLOSSES over the nature of their relationship, likely withholding the salacious truth from a prospective new audience (he did not break 1K viewers).
Once again showing he keeps everything told in confidence to weaponize later, he shows messages from both Aaron and April, bereft of context.
Not to mention that these messages were made within the context of the polycule still being active and Nick not going full 'mask off' on his narcissism as he has since his arrest.
All for a "he-said" / "she-said" over gas money.
When the nanny left because Nick can't manage his life, April stepped in to help.
She was driving the kids around and WITHOUT compensation the way the nanny was being compensated.
Aaron ultimately complains this is eating into his (THEIR, they were MARRIED), finances.
Nick asserts, WITHOUT EVIDENCE, it was Aaron's idea for her to stay there. Additionally without evidence, Nick asserts he gave April a debit card to cover gas and groceries.
April's own text messages refute this, as she had to ask for financial help.
However, this does not indicate if he paid April for the labor or wear-and-tear on her vehicle, unless she used one of Nick's cars.
Again, all without evidence, beyond Nick's cherry-picked, out of context texts.
At best, it can be surmised this was a compromise, to save April and Aaron money, because Nick has a history of not compensating people (like his panelists) without an explicit agreement for payment.
Also keep in mind this is after Nick lost his Rumble contract "when he really needed the money" and was cutting services like meal delivery and had a massive loan taken out against his primary home.
Whatever the case, having April live next-door was definitely advantageous to Nick, as it allowed him to isolate April, who was reliant on Nick's stash of coke, and ensure only he had influence over her as
@keanucthompson has suggsted.
