I'll leave a typo here and there, to through you off a pic. Adds a bit of "realism".

Im trying to get some sleep but no, the knicks won
Trying to work on my art history course tonight amidst the absolute chaos and screaming from both sides of my house, fireworks, massive crowds running and jumping together yelling... Another day of NYC punishing me, just hilarious, if it weren't so insanely frustrating 😓

I have no idea who thought it was a good idea to bring a sculpture of Lenin, made in the Soviet Union, while Mamadami was the mayor. It’s true, though.
Guess who’s standing tall in the LES?

Saw this great lithograph of George Washington at the Met today. It was made by a French artist, Nicolas Eustache Maurin after Gilbert Stuart’s famous portrait based on a life study of Washington from 1796. The lithograph was commissioned by Boston publisher John Doggett as part of a series depicting the first five U.S. presidents, whom contemporaries nicknamed the «American Kings» To produce the prints, the paintings were sent all the way to Paris where Maurin transferred them onto lithographic stones. A French pressman then accompanied the stones back to Boston to oversee the printing.

IQ is whatever, it’s the courage to do the seemingly dumb yet detached and truly smart non group think thing that’s proof. It’s courage. In a way, it’s « above average smart », pattern clashing which is cool.
Replying to @EleonoraFall
This reminds of the story of a swedish guy who had an IQ of 140. He worked auto mechanic. When they asked him why he was doing this instead of something else, He simply said it was something he loved and found fulfilling. It stuck with me..

Livejournal entry alert: Every time I gather enough energy to head to the Met to sketch I tell myself « Just focus. Don’t talk to people. Maximize your study time» Then, of course, something happens. Today I sat down to sharpen my Pitt pastel pencil and this girl asked, « Are you an artist? » In haste I replied, « I just practice and study. » Funny how I become slightly awkward during that first interaction then open up, ask a question, and end up having a wonderful conversation and discovering someone I have a few things in common with. She writes poetry but is an attorney for a living. We encouraged each other to continue our art somehow. I ended up recommending a book to her. Then when I asked her name, I discovered that one of the main characters in that very book has exactly the same name, spelling included. What are the odds? Hannah, I wish you the best and hope that one day I see your poetry and novel published.

Human Beings as made in God’s image, aliens are just made. No conflict.
BREAKING: Steven Spielberg's alien film "Disclosure Day" flops during its opening after he made comments that Christians would question their faith after watching the film.

Funny how in question 3 of the French high school exam math specialty the third question features Latin and Greek classes… « In a French Première class (equivalent to 11th grade), 75% of the students study Ancient Greek. The other students study Latin; there are 9 of them. The total number of students in the class is: a. 24 b. 30 c. 34 d. 36 »
Le niveau de l'épreuve de maths du bac est tellement ridicule que j'ai dû aller vérifier que ce n'était pas du troll :

My dad’s childhood trauma was being forced to play violin and being forbidden from doing any kind of handy work because he might injure his fingers. He was treated like some kind of prodigy. What does that mean for me? My X posts probably answer that. Also, I somehow ended up carrying 2 finger injuries, including a finger operation. Lol.
Saint Augustine speaks of this (really)

We should just put gold on every worthy sculpture in the country. One day, when all the bad elements are deported it will be a great way to celebrate. It doesn’t cost that much it’s such a fine layer, worth it!
Update: the aura is being applied. 🇺🇸
