This is a problem for several reasons: - XO trades provides zero suitability filter - lack if due diligence on custody - lack of portfolio context (unseen risk concentration or tax inefficiencies) - general advice vacuum 🧵

Putting it simply, banning advice on Bitcoin to retail clients does not ban the behaviour, it just removes the safety net.

It is fascinating to me that no mainstream economists, banks, OR financial media companies seem to want to dig into a macro "dog that didn't bark": WHO IS IMPORTING SO MUCH GOLD INTO THE US THAT IT IS CUTTING GDP IN A $27 TRILLION ECONOMY BY 2.0%, AND WHY ARE THEY DOING IT?!!
