/NEW POST/ Soil science often moves along two tracks: Theory and practical application. Theory helps us interpret soil formation and processes. Application reminds us that every intervention carries consequences. See more in the following tweets.

English summary: Theoretical soil science interprets observations, systems, and mechanisms. Applied soil science confronts us with constraints, trade-offs and irreversible consequences. Thus, soil science progresses when conceptual understanding and practices co-evolve.
