The new OoT won't incorporate TotK lore. TotK's backstory is so obviously a reimagining of Ocarina of Time's Imprisoning War the same way Four Swords Adventures is. OoT3D didn't suddenly replace OoT-Ganon with FSA-Ganon. That'd be stupid

TotK recontextualises the botw-world as its own seperate continuity, with its own Ganon, it's own origin of Zelda's light power, etc etc

Wind Waker is a solved game. It has a certain moment where its systems no longer become any more interesting and hits a wall.
This applies to all 3D Zeldas BEFORE the Wild Era. Aonuma is thinking far bigger than people give him credit for.

Modern Zelda fans are so funny, they go "We had the same OoT-style games for 10 years, it got stale! We needed botw" and then you look at the last 10 years SINCE botw and its only it and its assetflip "sequel". I'd rather have 5 OoT-esque games than the same "new" game two times

I don't think I can handle the idea of the OoT remake being 1:1. You can't waste a zelda dev cycle on a 1:1 remake. We're gonna end up with 15 years between BotW and a new original 3D Zelda 🥲

If Mina is as good as people are saying, then I think it’s past time we formally establish the “heavily inspired by Zelda but it mogs every actual Zelda game” genre

God, the remake will have this exact breath of the wild-style monochrome logo with the slightly damaged letters. I like BotW but that game has done irreversible damage to this franchise if they're even going back and changing the logos to be minimalist
