‘10% of those over 65 and 50% of those over 85 live with frailty. It can be slowed or reversed with the right prevention and care, improving the quality of life for older people.’ @JKDhesi BGS President Elect supports this collection on frailty from the @NIHRresearch
@TUIUK please sort your seat booking policy. Don't allow bookings that leave an empty window seat (even if you pay to select seats). As a family of 5 this forces us to have a toddler climbing over a poor person in the aisle seat when they decide they want the other parent.
Surely it's not that hard to adjust the system to recognise bookings for families with small children to allow them to choose seats together. It's enough to make us not bother to be honest. Won't be looking at @TUIUK flights again until the kids are moody teenagers....
The SHED study is published! Thanks to the 100s of contributors around the UK...
This paper raises a lot of questions - how will it influence your work? What post test probability of SAH and aneurysmal SAH are you, and your patients, comfortable with?

We said goodbye to Basil on Monday after 17 years of snuggles. In my son's words, she was the best cat ever. It is amazing the impact pets can have and it has left a big hole in our family.
🙌 We are delighted to share that Dr Laura Goodwin will be at our Pre-Hospital Maternity and Newborn Conference, Laura will cover research into neonatal hypothermia and thermoregulation following unplanned out of hospital birth.
