From crushing & screening to conveying, if one part stops working it can bring the whole site to a standstill.
A lot of what we do is keeping that equipment running, like repairing worn parts to making modifications, helping to reduce downtime & keep production flowing smoothly.

Not everything that comes to us needs replacing, a lot of what we do is about improving what’s already there.
That might mean modifying a worn component, re-engineering a part that’s no longer performing, or adapting older machinery so it can keep up with current demands.

What started as a raw idea in mild steel has now become a fully finished seal housing for a regular customer.
From initial #machining through to finishing, this part has been produced all in-house, ensuring it’s not just made, but made to perform exactly as required in service.

Our #ReverseEngineering can work wonders! 🤩
Take this damaged polymer extruder filter plate for example. It had reached the end of its service life, so we reverse engineered the part and machined a precise replacement from EN24T, restoring full functionality and reliability.

Urgent breakdown - we were called with a machine still running but a critical component failing.
With just 30 minutes on site, we measured the faulty cock valve & returned to the workshop to machine a replacement acetal (POM) valve body. It was delivered back within 24 hours.

A Fristam 130FL lobe pump used for edible liquid transfer had stuck rotors - a replacement would’ve cost over £20,000.
Within 48 hours, we re-machined, rebuilt with it new seals and got it running again. It was fast, reliable and far cheaper than a new unit.

A production line was stuck because a drive pulley had worn out. Waiting for the usual replacement wasn’t an option, it would have meant downtime & delays!
Using Fusion 360, we quickly designed & machined 4 new timing belt conveyor #pulleys (plus 4 spares) from 6082 aluminium.
