ODI cricket has been around for 55 years, and we have still gone nowhere with the number of teams participating in the ODI World Cup The T20 format has taken the sport to the Olympics and is ensuring more nations play for a chance in the World Cup. Some 'wise men' want it to not be called the World Cup when it's the only cricket tournament that gets 20 nations involved. Don't be that stupid and obsessed with your agendas about Indian cricket that you stop seeing the bigger picture for the growth of the game. The T20 World Cup is beautiful, and it's absolutely fine for it to be held every two years.

All the moaning about how having a T20 WC every 2 years is overkill was coming almost entirely from Full Member player/media voices. USA played 0 T20Is v FMs since end of 2024 T20 WC. Today was Nepal's 1st ever match v England. If not at a T20 WC, when do Associates get a chance?
