Absolutely amazing day 1 of @acn_tweet National Nursing Forum! Feeling incredibly empowered and inspired by the incredible nurses I’ve been surrounded by all day! 🙌
When 700 nurses take over #Darwin for a week, you know it is going to be good. @acn_tweet is hosting our National Nursing Forum this week. Our tribe has gathered to talk, share, learn, hug and most importantly just be together after an extraordinary few years. #StrongerTogether

Orator @NMHPV CEO Glenn Taylor MACN shared that nursing is a double-edged sword - we are pulled to give and care for others. But preparing for this comes at a cost. We need to replenish, restore and rejuvenate #ACNMelbGBO #selfcare

Very happy to finally share my reflection on my experience last year.
In August 2020, @EmReardon2 MACN spent 19 long days in hotel quarantine recovering from a COVID-19 infection. 8 months later, Emma has written a powerful reflection on her experiences and the selflessness she witnessed in her nursing colleagues acn.edu.au/nurseclick/a-stud…

Really glad to share my experience with COVID-19 this morning. If your symptoms develop, progress, or persist please get retested no matter how recently you were last swabbed. It only took 24 hours for my body to change from negative to positive.
When student nurse Emma was first tested for COVID her result was negative. Less than 24 hours later the virus was taking its toll. "I really want people to understand it doesn't matter how recently you tested negative, if your symptoms develop ... just get retested."
