On 6 May, Amb. MICHII participated in a tour of “De Kuip”, the Feyenoord Stadium in Rotterdam, organized by Rotterdam-Japan Club (RJC). Currently, the five Japanese footballers play for the team. We wish both the men’s and women’s teams a strong finish to the 2025-2026 season.

On 30 April, a book presentation of “Nippon: Japan through the Eyes of Philipp Franz von Siebold” Matthi and Kuniko Forrer took place at the Leiden Uni Library. Ambassador MICHII and Count Constantin Brandenstein von Zeppelin (descendant of Siebold) were given the first copies.
