Look I'm biased for obvious reasons. But as a certified professional of the vorenographic arts I think I have some expertise here.
Getting eaten is shocking, scary, disgusting and horrifying. So are all the gruesome deaths in any horror movie or game you've ever seen. Why do some people get off to this? Well simply put our brain runs the same neurochemical pathways for fear arousal and disgust. In the same way some will fantasize about a relationship with a vampire or werewolf. So wires getting crossed is more normal than you think.
My point though is ultimately, who cares if people get off? Let the animations be graphic and horrifying, let some people get shocked, others might go "HMMMM is this awakening somthing in me?" But to censor it because "eww its too graphic and some might be turned on by this". That's just cowardly and stupid.
Part of the appeal of slasher movies was to mix horror and horny. If you don't believe me, watch the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Arousal is complex and sometimes filled with cognitive dissonance. And if anyone here thinks Tomb Raider is supposed to be some fun family friendly adventure with no horror or horny allowed... well then I don't respect your opinion.
SO yeah please do bring back the swallow animations cowards. I'll be a weirdo perv about it, but that doesn't mean you have to.

Is it just me, or are stories of artists ghosting on their clients becoming more and more commonplace?
It used to be something I'd hear only once in a while, but now I'm hearing stories like that from almost all of my friends. Some of which are big comms too.
