Reese Poole (2027) UNCG Commit Helps SE Rising Sherrill 18U Slug Their Way To Victory Against Carolina Cardinals Chandler Black 18U Reese Poole (2027) UNCG Commit hit two home runs and drove in seven as SE Rising Sherrill 18U defeated Carolina Cardinals Chandler Black 18U 17-0 on Saturday. Poole (2027) UNCG Commit homered in the second and first innings. SE Rising Sherrill 18U opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two home runs. SE Rising Sherrill 18U first got on the board when Poole (2027) UNCG Commit homered to center field, scoring three runs. SE Rising Sherrill 18U scored five runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Savanna Henderson (2027) Kentucky Commit drew a walk, scoring one run, and Poole (2027) UNCG Commit hit a grand slam to left field. SE Rising Sherrill 18U scored eight runs on seven hits in the top of the third inning. Abbi Million (2026) Lipscomb Commit hit a solo home run to left field, Kyla Hamby (2027) Georgia Commit doubled, scoring one run, Henderson (2027) Kentucky Commit singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, and Emery Coffield (2027) homered to center field, scoring three runs. Remie Smith (2027) earned the win for SE Rising Sherrill 18U. The reliever surrendered one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out one and walking none. Alyssa Harris (Pfeiffer '26) took the loss for Carolina Cardinals Chandler Black 18U. The hurler went one and two-thirds innings, giving up nine runs on five hits, striking out two and walking three. Josey Kegley (2027) stepped in the circle first for SE Rising Sherrill 18U. The righty surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. SE Rising Sherrill 18U accumulated 12 hits in the game. Carolina Constable (2026) Kentucky Commit collected two hits for SE Rising Sherrill 18U in two at bats. SE Rising Sherrill 18U worked the count all day, piling up five walks. SE Rising Sherrill 18U turned one double play in the game. SE Rising Sherrill 18U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Maddy Steeele (2026) had the most chances in the field with three.
