Austin-Travis County EMS says one person was rescued from their car with minor injuries after driving into a low water crossings.
This happened off of Old San Antonio Rd.

APD says several suspects were detained at an apartment complex off of E. Howard Ln, believed to be connected to this morning’s shooting.
APD did not specify the exact number.

APD says 1 person is dead and 4 others are hospitalized after a shooting around 1:32 am.

A cargo train has derailed this morning near Bowie/ W. 3rd St. APD says there are no injuries and the cargo is non-hazardous.
Crews are working to get it cleared up.

Austin police is currently working a barricade subject near 6400 Santos St.
Roads around the area are closed and you are being asked to avoid the area.
We are working to learn more from APD.
AFD says 3 children are dead, and 3 people are injured following an apartment fire off of Burleson Rd.
Residents in that building were evacuated and are not yet allowed to return-enter.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. @cbsaustin
A memorial is continuing to grow outside of Buford’s for the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting on W. 6th St.
Austin police confirm a third victim has passed away.
The victims have been identified as Jorge Pederson, 30, Ryder Harrington, 19 and Savitha Shan, 21 @cbsaustin
The FBI says its joint terrorism task force are investigating this mornings shooting on W. 6th Street.
During a briefing, the FBI said a motive is unclear at this time but there were indicators of terrorism related to the shooting. @cbsaustin
Community members searching for loved ones related to the shooting on West Sixth Street are asked to call the Austin Police Department Victim Services Unit at 512-974-5037

14 people have been transported to the hospital. 3 are in critical condition.
Officers will be on the scene for several more hours.
