Some crystal faces are visible where they reflect the light, but these are poorly formed crystals more closely resembling spheres. The spheres are distinct in places but in others they occur so close together as to form one large mass, particularly in the bottom right of the specimen. The crystals are a golden-yellow colour, though most are tarnished to also show blues, greens and purples.
