Someone got mad at me for skipping cutscene and pulling the boss early. The player who got upset was not a sprout or a returner. They have several max level jobs, current relic weapon and I think a piece of a savage gear. Point being: they're not new. #FFXIV

have a meltdown and feel validated for it. Even though there's a skip cutscene option in the game. We also put so much value on "mentors" that someone so much as have a crown on their username people will look at you as the "savant of excellent FFXIV etiquette"

When mentors who take this role seriously are either the most uptight shits who take casual content as seriously as a clear party for ultimates or the most opposite of "savant of excellent FFXIV etiquette". Refusing to play the game is worst than skipping a cutscene... J/s

Not to keep rageposting, but it would be nice if FFXIV committed to adding in mods in and add in death tracker. It would be nice to see/show how people dying. Not to be a total jackass when moments like this arise.🙃

Out of pettyness I'm writing a guide on Aurum Vale. Imma do it on Warrior, since "that's a bad tank at low levels." Specially touching on the changes on how Dungeons work now since NONE OF THE GUIDEMAKERS touched on this. (They did and continue to repeat it like a broken record.)

Who said mentor isn't respected? Okay, challenge accepted. New player disses mentor for one piece of information that only people who have more than a few hours in this game would know cause he couldn't keep him alive in his own ignorance. This is mentoring now.

Not even use Reprisal RIGHT, but just use it. Imagine that. Imagine offering the one knowledge that FFXIV doesn't offer to new players only to get it shut down because new players can't say "I didn't know, my ignorance is up there"

Healer hard stuckersand healer "Mains" I would recommend reading up on your co-healer tool tips and support DPS moves like SMN, DNC, and MCH. IT will help you out a lot. Stop listening to bad players, stop bailing out bad players, start actually doing more dmg #FFXIV

AOES will be stood in. AOES will be eaten by my shields. I will use every move on my hot bar, including Physick because it's there.

To all the healer that Rescue in extreme and/or Lvl 90 during their runs, did you get the coms you wanted? Was it worth it? Did you pull your caster in an AOE?
