They are the ultimate Protestants. Protestants against the Protestants. The Tower of Babel being fully constructed.
Are most non-denominational churches considered Protestant?

I think the comments in @gonefishin1948 tweet is a great microcosm of where Protestantism is heading today. Non-denominational. I am starting to think that most Protestants are no longer protesting Catholicism, but the Protestant denomination they left.
I hear regularly from Christians who are not Catholic, but rarely do they tell me what branch of Christianity they belong to (except the Orthodox). Why are many Christians not sharing their denomination or what Church they frequent?

If you are Catholic and will be going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) keep a few things in mind: 1. Confess your sins, not other people's sins. 2. Don't tell a story about why you sinned. 3. Don't talk about other people. 4. Sins are not accidents, so if you accidentally sneezed in public that is not a sin. 5. Don't talk about who you do and do not like, what you do for fun, how tough your job is or how you "almost" sinned. 6. If you accidentally did something and it was not intentional it is not a sin. 7. Be assured that if you confess your sins as far as you can remember since your last confession all of your sins are forgiven. If you are not Catholic don't complain that Catholics do go to Confession.

This is funny!
📜✨ **“The Ballad of Pastor Jim” — When Made-Up History Starts Sounding True** Some legends aren’t preserved because they’re true… They’re preserved because they’re *repeated*. This song started as a running joke—years of memes poking fun at the kind of “church history” that shows up in charts, pamphlets, and confident retellings… but somehow never in actual history books. You’ve seen it: 👉 secret, underground “true churches” in every century 👉 timelines that skip inconvenient facts 👉 bold claims with zero sources… but absolute certainty Stuff like the infamous *“Trail of Blood”* style narratives—where history isn’t studied… it’s *drawn*. So I figured: What if we told that story straight? 🎶 **“The Ballad of Pastor Jim”** is a mockumentary maritime dirge about a man who: * quotes the KJV… before it exists * argues theology… before it develops * and confidently explains history… that never happened It’s absurd. It’s funny. But it’s also a warning. Because the point isn’t just Pastor Jim. The point is what happens when: * Scripture is cut off from history * private interpretation replaces tradition * and confidence replaces truth That’s how you get timelines that bend… theology that loops… and stories that *feel* true… even when they’re not. 🎶 **“The Ballad of Pastor Jim”** — a song for: history nerds, converts, cradle Catholics, theology junkies, and anyone who’s ever seen a chart and thought, *“…wait, is that actually real?”* 👀 **Bonus:** stick around after the song… a few of the original Pastor Jim memes make an appearance. --- ## 🔖 Hashtags #Catholic #CatholicFaith #PetersBarque #CatholicMusic #ChurchHistory #Theology #Apologetics #SolaScriptura --- ## 🔗 FOLLOW PETER’S BARQUE * Website: petersbarquemusic.com * X: x.com/petersbarque * Instagram: instagram.com/petersbarque * TikTok: tiktok.com/@petersbarque * Facebook: facebook.com/petersbarque * YouTube: youtube.com/@peters-barque * Rumble: rumble.com/c/c-7821522 --- ## 🎧 LISTEN TO THE MUSIC * Apple Music: music.apple.com/us/artist/pe… * Spotify: open.spotify.com/artist/07uv… --- ## ☕ SUPPORT THE PROJECT * Ko-fi: ko-fi.com/petersbarque --- ## Disclosure Peter’s Barque is a catechetical musical project by Justin West. Well Ms Lynn, Dr Shay blocked me for pointing out her lies about Christ’s Church. I pray that at some point in her slandering that she will realize that Christ is calling her to His Church and the devil is doing everything keep her from it. But I will respond to your statement here: Every ritual and doctrine of the Catholic Church was given to us by Jesus Christ through His Apostles, and whatever Christ gives us aren’t vain. Maybe one day you too will realize that if one needs to lie to try to win an argument, they are Satan’s minion whether they know it or not.
No they’re not 🙄. Following Christ has nothing to do with vain rituals and doctrines commanded by the Roman Catholic organization.

I think other questions can be helpful here, too: 1. Is the canon of Scripture revealed by God or men? 2. If it is revealed by God, where in Scripture is it revealed? 3. If it is not revealed in Scripture, are all Christians bound to believe these books, and no others, are Scripture? 4. If we are bound to believe only these are Scripture, again, question 2. 5. If we are not bound (because the Bible doesn't give us the canon), then that implies an open canon. 6. If "other authorities that are not infallible" help us to arrive at the canon, how can we use the sole infallible source (the Bible) to see if they are right/wrong?

Boy it seems that today, everyone and their momma, has come out attempting to throw shade on the Catholic Church. Did I miss something? Is there some type of anti-Catholic Protestant holiday today?

Catholics for Catholics Claim: Carrie’s position on Zionism is “the Catholic view.” There is no official Catholic doctrine on Zionism. The Church has never taught that Catholics must oppose or support the modern State of Israel. These are prudential political judgments, not articles of faith. Presenting one political stance as “the Catholic view” misrepresents Church teaching. Claim: Anti-Zionism is not antisemitism. The Church recognizes that political criticism of Israel can be legitimate. However, Catholic teaching also warns that rhetoric about Jews or Israel must avoid language or framing that revives hostility toward the Jewish people (Nostra Aetate 4). Catholics must exercise particular care when speaking on these matters. Claim: Carrie was removed because others on the commission disagree with Catholic beliefs. Nothing in Catholic doctrine requires a Catholic to hold Carrie’s political position on Israel or Zionism. Since her views are not Catholic teaching, removing her from a government commission cannot be framed as suppressing the Catholic faith. Claim: Carrie was defending religious freedom. Refutation: Religious freedom, as defined by the Church (Dignitatis Humanae), protects the right to practice and profess the faith without coercion. It does not guarantee a government appointment or protect political commentary from professional consequences. Claim: Bishops should defend Carrie because Catholic doctrine is under attack. Since the issue involves political positions rather than Catholic doctrine, it does not constitute an attack on the faith. Bishops defend the deposit of faith, not individual political disputes. What Catholic doctrine? Source please.

Iranian Los Angeles Resident on CNN: “When is the last time you saw people from Israel and Iran dancing on the streets with excitement, and when is the last time you’ve ever heard of a country coming out and dancing because they’re excited that a foreign power is attacking them, and that country is Iran, whose official government statement is ‘Death to Israel. Death to America.’” “The Iranian people have made it absolutely clear that they’re ready for regime change. They want freedom in Iran, and they want the rest of the world not to abandon them because we’re almost at the finish line.”

Do you notice that in every country Trump strikes, the people take to the streets to celebrate? It was the same in Venezuela as it is in Iran. Trump isn’t seeking world domination. He’s setting the captives free.
