Feeling driven today!
After reading some nasty blogs about myself ,
This vase has a different snippet from Clarice’s work all the way around 🤠
Took most of the day, but energy well spent,
Note: “If you want me to fail ? Stop fuelling me !”

🧵 Tonight in the city centre was very special and emotional. Hundreds of people gathered to view the unveiling of the 100 Years 100 Faces mural created as part of Stoke-on-Trent’s Centenary Celebrations. It is incredibly humbling to be chosen to be included in this artwork…
Hugely honoured to feature on the @StokeontrentBID centenary wall alongside local legends like Robbie Williams, Reginald Mitchell, Sir Stanley Matthews and @MartinTideswell here’s to the next 100 years!
What an inspiring evening at the unveiling of the 100 Years 100 Faces mural in Stoke-on-Trent city centre. Planned by @StokeontrentBID and created by artists Rob Fenton & Alastair Barnett, it features 100 of the city’s most famous sons and daughters from the past 100 years.

From 4 years ago and admittedly with a Clarice Cliff focus, a column calling for statues celebrating or honouring the multifarious contributions to our heritage or history by real Potteries women.
It’s good to see in this centenary year, @SoTCityCouncil is finally correcting this problem of underrepresentation.
Today’s workshop .. WOW !
What a creative group decorating in on - glaze , blown away 👏👏👏@Middleport_Pot@Middleport_ST6
A few centenary plates in there 🎉
Plates made in Stoke at Duchess china , Stoke-on-Trent .
Really well deserved. Longton is buzzing as a town centre with much thanks to his work. Will be setting up my office in Longton Exchange sion. I look forward to working with him and other local businesses to continue bucking the trend and having a high street that is booming.
When Chris Ward took over as manager of @longtonexchange in 2022, 21 of the 60 retail units were empty. He has reduced the vacancy rate to just four. In the same timeframe footfall increased by 32.5%. Watch to find out why he was highly commended in @UniofStaffs Business Awards.
Back on the big screen for one day only.
See the Colour Room- the story of Clarice Cliff- at Brampton Museum Sat 19 Oct at 2pm.
