Lol wut? You don't expect me to believe any of these are genuinely royal mail do you? Babies, I live week to week financially. You're not scamming money from me. I have none to give.

What is happening to so many COVID-conscious people has a name: social exclusion. If this is a new feeling for you, it can be incredibly confusing and painful. For many of us who have always been "outsiders," the mask is just one more reason on a long list. But now you're feeling it: the conversations that die, the invitations that stop, the silence where your concerns used to be. This is not an accident. Our society uses exclusion—excommunication, exile, ostracism—as a penalty for non-conformity. It is a tool to enforce the status quo. The pain you feel is real. It's called an exclusion injury, and it registers in the brain similarly to physical pain. Your body is telling you a truth: that connection is being severed as a punishment. This is article discusses the research of Matthew Lieberman: inknownative.com/blog/exclus… Link to Lieberman's book: amazon.com/Social-Why-Brains… @TMaritanoAquino
Last year I started taking screenshots of posts that expressed the extraordinarily strange experiences that I, & others in our little Covid-aware corners, are having. This was the 1st; now I have 100’s. My phone is a documentary, a witness to a trauma unknown to most.

Keir Starmer has had covid at least twice. Just saying. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-5…
Let’s talk about COVID, brain damage & society. Specifically, what happens when a neurotropic virus repeatedly infects the population, targeting the frontal lobe & almost nobody talks about the consequences? This thread is for the skeptics. I’m a neurologist, stay with me 🧵

Just put together this document with links to a few things you do before the end of this month to help support trans and disabled people in the UK. If anyone has anything I can add, please let me know and I will do! docs.google.com/document/d/1…

RE: PIP reform I scored 2 points for food prep, 2 for washing/bathing, 2 for managing toilet needs, & 2 for dressing/undressing. These scores are already under-representing my actual needs... 🧵

Also, I hate that this is where we are at right now - begging to be seen/heard in order to KEEP the support we currently have, when that support is actually already not enough for a large number of people who have managed to 'prove' they need it.

No amount of education or training will ever give someone the understanding that lived experience does. Accept that we know what we are talking about. We are not trying to dupe you. We just want to be able to live.
