To borrow an expression he used at the time, I've been reading Steve's work 'since Jesus played fullback for Jerusalem' - so this is a nice moment.

That looks like the pit wall at Croft and am sure it was a story about the fact I raced a Vectra and also drove one as my daily commute also sure there were some fun outakes of film during the take 😂 I actually drove a red one daily and it shook all my fillings loose 😂

@jclelandracing My mate has just bought a Vectra GSI that I think was a press car. Found some pics of you track testing it alongside the Masterfit Vectra for a magazine/supplement called 'Road Record' in July '99, but at a dead end. Can you tell us any more about the story sir?

Funny when things come full circle. When I was about 8, I had a picture of Francois Delecour's Escort Cosworth on my bedroom wall. Yesterday, I went a meeting at Gaydon and found K748 GOO waiting in the entrance hall. Sadly, all 4 wheels were on the ground.
